Last time I visited these tourism attractions was already about 6 years ago, so it must has a lot of changes that occur within the grace period. Not all the tourism attractions in Dewata Island, Bali has hot weather. If you want to feel the Bali’s cold sensation, I recommend you to visit this place. Perhaps many people get bored if they go to Bali only for sunbathing, so this place could give you another choice in order to make you not get bored. But it looks like we'll never get bored if we go on vacation to Bali. In this place, the thick fogs will welcome and give you a cool air of the mountains generally.

Located in Bedugul, Tabanan regency which is actually a plateau with an altitude about 1,200 meters above sea level. This place will give you a cold sensation to your body. This region not only has cold weather but also has good soil which is good especially for farming. The lake is used for irrigation people around. And you’d better not surprised if suddenly a heavy rain flushed the region when you visit, although at first the weather is fine and don’t seem like it will rain. That’s one of the characteristic of this region. 

Lake Bratan is not only tourism attraction which makes this region popular, there are Ulun Danu Temple at the edge of the lake which was built in 1633. It is the place used for offerings ceremony to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu by the people around. Accommodation

For this, you can choose some transportation mode, including :

• Air Mode. You can flight from Jakarta. There are many choices of airlines that can flight you to land safely in Bali. Hehe.. You just have to adjust your budget. The airfares start from 600,000 Rupiahs from Jakarta to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, Bali. The flight only takes about 2 hours, but it also depends on the weather. After landing at Denpasar, you should continue your journey again as far as 54 kilometers to reach Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, Bali. How? Is it far? hehe.. You can use Taxi services, if you choose this service, you should prepare a sufficient budget. I’m sure that you've certainly know how much standard Taxi fare for considerable distance away. At least you should prepare about 200,000 Rupiahs for the Taxi cost. Besides Taxi, you can also choose Bus Tourism or Travel Agent that offer routes to Denpasar-Singaraja. You should prepare a budget about 150,000 Rupiahs for a single trip.

• Land Mode. By this mode, you can start your trip from Surabaya city by taking public transportation i.e. bus. Departing from Purabaya Bus Station, Surabaya, you can choose many kind of bus that will take you to Bali. The trip usually takes about 3 hours, depending on the road situation,.. The bus rates range usually between 130,000-150,000 Rupiahs depending on which class that you choose. Then you will need about 45 minutes to cross by ship to Bali. What makes crossings is long usually because the waiting for the ship docked. It can be up to 2 hours, so you need to be patient :D Besides to the bus, you can also hire a travel agent, even to commute. The rates start from 200,000 Rupiahs for one person and one way. You will receive the standard facilities such as AC, Audio / Video, Lunch and Snack, crossing ticket, blankets and pillows, and there are others facilities, depending on the travel agent that you choose. So, if you choose a travel agent, I suggest you to make a group of people or go by the group. Because more people will give you cheaper cost. For those of you who use private vehicles such as the family car, you should prepare a cost for the fuel consumption to the destination. While towards Bali crossing rate, you need to set aside about 150,000 Rupiahs. It’s the vehicles crossing rate and not include the person fare that categorized by age group (children and adults). Remember, prepare your physical ability, because from the Gilimanuk Port, your trip is still very far away, keep safety, cause safety can be fun ..:D

• Train Mode. Unfortunately, you cannot take train to get in Bali. It’s because the last station for the passengers is only in Banyuwangi Baru Station, East Java. So henceforth, you must continue your trip as I stated before by crossing the Bali straits. It was a few choice for you who go to vacation to Bali, especially who want to enjoy the natural beauty Ulun Danu Bratan, Bali. Remember, know you budget capabilities, hahaa
 

 

Inn

Do you think a single day to explore the beauty of Ulun Danu Beratan would be enough? I don’t think so .. If you have more time, there is nothing wrong if you spend several nights just to rent the inn or hotel. Don’t worry at the inn or hotel where you are going to inhabit for a while. In the region nearby there are so many lodging from the conventional type until the modern type. I’m sure that you will confuse to choose the inn.

If you want to find accommodation which located not far from bustle of people's lives around, you can search for lodgings in the area of Candi Kuning Area Traditional Market. It’s not only close to the local communities, but also you can enjoy the beauty of Lake Bratan directly from your inn which surrounds that area.

For lodging rates, if you carefully find the information and negotiate the fares, you might get lodging with rates below 250,000 Rupiahs. If you take the standard rate, the fare can reach 300.000 Rupiahs/night, inclusive of facilities that can be fairly complete.

Flora and fauna

The natural attractions will feel a little less attractive if it has not introduced the flora and fauna profile. Therefore, for this kind of thing, Bali should not be underestimated. With thousands of bird species typical of the Bali region and many kinds of unique and beautiful flowers, it will melt your heart. From the Flora, you may not need to go around Indonesia to recognize the various types of plants typical of Indonesia.

various delicious food and home-made food are available there.

Their fresh fruits are fresh as well as decorate the stalls that are lined up neatly, from strawberry to various types of mangoes.  Any kinds of vegetables from A until Z are available there.

Culinary

Talks about Bali would feel less attractive if no one has not discussed this menu. Yup… Ayam Betutu. This food is a kind of Balinese dish of steamed or roasted chicken or duck  (a whole body)  with the body  insides containing spices and herbs typical of processed chicken Betutu Balinese. The scent of roasting by results of Fire husk which makes drool and hunger, hehe. So I suggest you to try it. Ehh… do not just try but also enjoy it. Yup.. Ayam Betutu.
